  • Intro:

Serena Williams posed with French Open trophy at Eiffel Tower after the world number one won a dramatic final against Czech 13th seed Lucie Safarova to claim her 20th Grand Slam title.

    Script:

Where better to celebrate a third Roland Garros title than infront of the Eiffel Tower by the river Seine.

Serena Williams had that pleasure following her three set win over Czech Lucie Safarova.

Serena now adds the 2015 title to her other two triumphs in 2002 and 2012.

Serena looked as if she was easing to victory over the 13th seed Safarova, when she was a set and break up.

However Safarova fought back to force Williams to take the match in three.

Her Grand Slam victories stands at 20 following her victory over Safarova

And she'll be the big favourite to make it 21 Grand Slams when Wimbledon comes around at the end of June.

The 33-year-old Williams is now only two Grand Slams away from Steffi Graff's total of 22 - the most since the open era begun in 1968.

Serena is four off the record-holder Margaret Court who won her 24 Slams between 1960 and 1973.
