  • Intro:

Malaysia's diving duo, Ooi Tze Liang and Chew Yi Wei, look forward to a big haul at the 28th SEA Games in Singapore.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ooi Tze Liang, Malaysia, ( Whether his achievements in Commonwealth Games and Asian Games makes him the favourite) " That one already past, that is history. So just let it pass. This year is a new year. So all is new. So every competition we start everything new, we don't bring anything from last year, just keep looking for future."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chew Yi Wei, Malaysia, (on their preparations for Sea Games)

" So we have been in China for a month. It's going very good for our team and all the athletes here, it's doing well for me for the Sea Games. I'm preparing well."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chew Yi Wei, Malaysia, (on the success of Malaysia in diving in recent years)

"Train hard, that's all. I would say we train more, I think the core moral value that the coach gives us to be humble and stuff, I think it gives a lot of impact for us in diving too."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chew Yi Wei, Malaysia (on how he rates the field at Sea Games)

" For Sea Games like this I think even though it is not very many countries that come but...for Sports, there is no absolute winners. There might be miracles for them, there might be miracles for us, so we have to be focussed every time and I think we have to be humble and I have to focus for the game."
