Tiger Woods looks ahead to the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ireland, which starts on Thursday.

"It was. It was a little bit. Took a little bit of time off right after the Players. It was the height of our soccer season. Played a lot of soccer so I was focused on that. And then tried to eat a lot and get my weight back up and then we started some pretty good, intense practice."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tiger Woods:

"He's (Charlie Woods, Tiger Woods' son) got some parts of the swing that I'm trying to do and I can't do and it's a little frustrating at times, yeah."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tiger Woods:

"Well I think that if you look at most of Jack's golf courses, you really have to think your way around it. You know, yeah he gives you some open spaces around the tee shots, but the greens are are always complex. You have to miss the ball in the correct spots You have to have the ability to hit the ball high. Most of our winners - here at Memorial especially have been high ball hitters. It's rare that you get a low ball hitter, but then again when it gets soft you can get away with it, but generally you've got to hit the ball up. Most of Jack's courses are that way and I think that's one of the reasons I've played most of his courses well over the years all around the world actually because I've always hit the ball high."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tiger Woods:

"I would say yes, but sometimes, there have been times when I've won all four events right before the majors and didn't really do well. So It's all about peaking at the right time, getting everything organised. The main thing is I just want to start playing well again - being in contention with a chance to win. I was there at Augusta with a a chance to win - I'd like to get there a little more often and give myself more opportunities to win."
