SOUNDBITE: (English) Timea Bacsinszky, lost to Serena Williams 4-6, 6-3, 6-0:

(Question: Was it difficult to play against a player who seems to be not really well but then hitting serves of 200 kilometres when she needs to?)

"I knew on court it would be a difficult match. I never forgot that. So I always tried to push myself as far as I could like to try to win the match, and, well, she was better today. She pulled out a great match, because I think I was playing quite well. Well, she deserved to win today."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ana lvanovic, lost to Lucie Safarova 7-5, 7-5:

    (Q. You had a pretty good start of the match today. Can you explain why it turned this way and maybe why you lost a bit of momentum?)

"Yeah, you know, I really started well, like every other match, I really had a good plan coming into the match, but I just felt like I ran a little bit out of gas. I started dropping short and she played really, really well. She was very aggressive. You know, to be on that level I need a little bit better footwork, and I kind of was lacking that. Also explosivity in my serve. I'm really proud of what I achieved these two weeks."

SOUNDBITE (English) Lucie Safarova, defeated Ana lvanovic 7-5, 7-5:

    (Q. You are on a very good dynamic. What will you work for the final? Will you keep it that way and see what's going on?)

"I have doubles coming up tomorrow. I will try to just like really enjoy it and relax. Yeah, I'll play the doubles tomorrow and get ready. I'm really excited to be at this point in the finals, and I will go and enjoy each moment there."
