"This series was very important from both angles. One, this series was hosted in Pakistan and that was very important for all of us and it was exciting for all of us and emotional as well because we have not played International cricket in Pakistan for the last six years and a few of the players had never played (international cricket) in Pakistan. And winning was very important because you try to bring confidence in the team but if you do not win the confidence does not come to the team. I know that the opponent was not that strong but still a win is a win. The boys put a lot of effort in and Zimbabwe has played good cricket and this win has given us a lot of confidence. And hopefully this will help us on the way forward."

"Obviously, there have been a lot of positives, especially on the batting front. The guys have really applied themselves well. The guys have really stood up, even when we have had to make changes in the team. The guys that have come in have also really stood up and put their hands up to do more. "Having come here for just under two weeks and leaving, I think it was a worthwhile exercise for us. For us it was always about coming to play cricket. Zimbabwe unfortunately have not played enough cricket over the last four years. And there were a lot of positive knock-on effects for coming here - for us.
