Script:
The wind was blowing but the rain stayed away as the third day of the Irish Open got underway.
Many in the crowd were hoping Padraig Harrington would fight back into the contention, but despite this birdie at the 7th, the
Irishman's round of seven-under left him down in a tie for 36th position.
Alongside a Rickie Fowler who had this at 16 for a rare good note in his round.
The American blown away by the Irish summer, a round of five-under meant his miserable tournament continued.
German Maximillian Kieffer showed them how its done though with a course record.
A round of six under 65 on the par 71 course put him five-under overall, and just two off the lead.
As is Spaniard Rafa Cabrera-Bello
A round of two-under, including some classy stuff on the greens.
But out ahead was Soren Kjeldsen.
Another who produced a round of fine shots like this at the 5th.
As well as some great reads on the sloping greens - how about this on 13th.
A round of four-under from the Dane moved him to seven-under overall.
The 40 year-old in prime position heading into the final day.
