"It's just a really good week for everyone as I said at the end of the game it's a rocky couple of weeks for England off the field and we are still in limbo until Trevor turns up but the way that Paul has taken the side and he has done a fantastic job, and the challenge for us players is can we back up a great performance, well the last three days, and end up here at Headingley and win the series."

"I think Andrew (Strauss) decided to get the best man for the job, there is some very good candidates out there, and to coach England is obviously a huge role and with Trevor's experience in all forms of the game, and he is a successful coach everyone his one day record is very good as well, so it will be interesting to hear his ideas on that side, I don't really know him that well, i played against his Sri Lankan team, but everybody I have spoken to about him, I had a beer with Brendon (Mccullum) and the NZ guys after the test match, and they spoke very highly of him as well."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Brendon Mccullum, NZ Captain

"I make no apologies how we play the game, we need to be aggressive with our style of cricket, we have seen over the last 6 games playing that way gives us the greatest opportunity ,the more we get conformable playing like that the better we will become at it, so I guess everybody is entitled to their opinion how the NZ team play the game but I still believe it gives us the greatest chance of success."
