    Internacional advance into the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores after beating Santa Fe 2-1 on aggregate.

    While River Plate overturn a one-goal deficit to win 3-1 against Cruzeiro following the second leg in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

    Colombian side Sante Fe brought a one-nil lead to Porto Alegre for the second leg of this Copa Libertadores quarter-final with Internacional.

    The Brazilian side levelled up the tie in the third minute when Brazilian veteran defender Juan headed home.

    The 36-year-old with his first Copa Libertadores goal of the season.

    With 25 minutes remaining Sante Fe were down to 10 men.

    Internacional sealed the game with Sante Fe down to nine men, with their second - another header - via Badlomero Perlaza.

    The game sadly ending in chaos with Sante Fe's subs bench confronting the officials.

    Nevertheless, Internacional advance to the semi-finals of the tournament they last won in 2010.

    Another Brazilian side - Cruzeiro - were defending a one-goal lead from their away leg at River Plate.

    However, their advantage last just 20 minutes.

    Carlos Sanchez levelled the scoreline with this finish.

    Just before the break River took the lead in the tie. Jonathan Maidana with a quite brilliant header.

    And it wasn't long before the Argentine side put themselves in complete control.

    Neat work from Antonio Gutierrez finishing Cruziero's involvement in the Copa Libertadores.
