SOUNDBITE (English) Tim Sherwood, Aston Villa manager (on getting to the FA Cup final)

"We're excited about the prospect, we know it's a huge occasion, growing up watching FA Cup finals and to be part of one is a fantastic achievement for the football club."

SOUNDBITE (English) Tim Sherwood, Aston Villa manager (with his message to the fans)

"To enjoy the day. It's not often they go to Wembley, we want to make sure we're back there in August for the Community Shield because that means we've won the cup and then we've got a European campaign to take care of as well. Just to enjoy the day, believe, we need to believe in that dressing room and on that pitch. There's nothing wrong in believing, we know we're going to be the underdogs, but we quite relish that fact. We've been underdogs all season and we've pulled it off by staying in the league and we need to make sure we pull it off by winning the FA Cup."

SOUNDBITE (English) Tim Sherwood, Aston Villa manager

"I admire anyone who has managed as many games as Arsene Wenger's done at the highest level. I think he believes in his philosophy and he doesn't sway from that. He sticks to how he plays, I know exactly how Arsenal are going to play. I admire him for that, sticking to his guns, I think they are the best footballing teams in the league and they've got an opportunity to win another trophy. We need to make sure that we stop it."

SOUNDBITE (English) Tim Sherwood, Aston Villa manager (on Europa not being incentive to win the FA Cup)

"It's no incentive, the incentive is to win the FA Cup. We're not going to win the FA Cup just because it's a chance to get into Europe. It's very difficult to play Thursday and Sunday in that Europa League, but it's something we want to embrace because it means that we've got a trophy in the cabinet."
