Reaction as Hull City are relegated from the English Premier League following a 0-0 draw with Manchester United on the last day of the season.

SOUNDBITE: (English), Steve Bruce:

"I've seen them perform but unfortunately the outcome of today has happened too often - we haven't been able to score and take the advantage. We've created enough chances but I think the simple fact is that nearly 50 per cent of the games we've played, and all season we've played with two strikers, 50 per cent of the games we've played we've not managed to score. So that's given us unfortunately too much to do."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Steve Bruce:

"We all enjoy the high times and the low times you take a kicking. It's fair to say at this minute I'm taking a kicking because it is just raw disappointment - not just for myself, but for everybody concerned with the club. The supporters are quite unique. They've given a standing ovation to the players and at the end of the day we've failed them and let them down. Because in August I thought we were strong enough to cope and play in the Premier League and obviously we haven't been. Me being at the top of it, I'll analyse myself more than anybody else."

"I've had a terrific relationship with the owner. In that respect I'm desperately disappointed for (him) because I've let him down. A contract we know really means nothing in football - he was trying to pick me up at the time probably to offer me it, if we are being truthful. For that I am always going to be grateful."
