  • Intro:

19-time grand slam winner Serena Williams says she "obviously" wants to match Steffi Graf's record of 22 titles ahead of the French Open in Paris.

    Script:

Life can be full of surprises, Serena Williams promoting a film she stars in for one but few would be shocked if the world number one managed three more grand slam titles to match the all-time record....

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Serena Wiliams:

"Getting to Steffi Graf's number is not - I mean obviously that is what I want to do but I am taking it one at the time. I would like to get to twenty, ideally this year and then really keep me on track into doing what I want to do for the next few years to come. But I am just taking it one at the time, Roland Garros would be great. I had an elbow injury and today was the first day that I felt better so I was like Yay! Mentally I am prepared and now physically I feel like I am almost there so I am ready."

And the French media are ready for her, she's loved here and that's reciprocated...

SOUNDBITE, Serena Williams: "I love Paris, I have a second home it is actually the only place I have a second home. I come here and I am relaxed, it's just a wonderful time."

She'll now hope to get her hands on the real big prize for the first time in two years.
