SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Ramsey, QPR manager (on being appointed QPR manager):

"I haven't seen the players since it was announced but so far I've had a lot of good feedback and I'm pleased with the way people have reacted to it. Obviously I realise it's a big job ahead and I've got the stomach for the fight. Everyone needs to pull together now so that we consolidate and get back to where we need to be."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Ramsey, QPR manage (on playing Championship football next season):

"The Championship is a very difficult division. You have a lot of big names that have been in the Premier League, a lot of big names down there. We're not looking at it with any fear but we do respect it and we have to make sure we don't slide. Obviously out ultimate goal is to be back in the Premier League."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Ramsey, QPR manager

Question: "Do you think he will be here next season?"

Ramsey: "I think that it will be difficult to hold onto him. Goalscorers are the people that everybody wants at the end of any season. I'm hoping that he stays but it would be naïve of me to say that for sure he's going to be here."
