SOUNDBITE (English) Padraig Harrington (on the possibility of missing the forthcoming Irish Open):

"It wouldn't be, absolutely no issue whatsoever for the Irish Open. This would be an injury that would, a couple of physio sessions and would be gone in a week. It's just the problem is I've only got 24 hours to get it done. This will not cause one bit of issue, as I said, even the US Open qualifier on Monday wouldn't be a problem. It will go away pretty quickly."

SOUNDBITE (English) Justin Rose, former US Open champion (on the scale of the tournament):

"Yeah, this will be very special for me, you know, to add this one would be - I've called it a bucket list tournament as outside the major championships, I can't think of a tournament that I'd like to win more than this one. It's obviously a huge event and given the sort of the local feel for me and you know, the inspiration I got from coming to watch this tournament. From about the age of eight I've been coming out here watching the great players and been inspired to go back to my home course and practice. I remember coming out, probably watching until 6pm then going home and catching the last hour or two of light, practising, trying to emulate what I saw that day. So, its always been a big inspiration for me this week."

SOUNDBITE (English) Rory McIlroy (on what constitutes a good year in 2015):

"I don't know, I mean, I've got off to a good start - three wins already this season. I'd be lying if I said I'd be disappointed if I wasn't to win one of the next three Majors. I think that's really what determines a good - or a great - season for me these days. So there's three Majors left this season I'd love to add to my tally."
