Reaction after the New York Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in game one of the Eastern Conference final on Saturday (16th May).

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Jon Cooper, Tampa Bay Lightning head coach (on the winning goal)

"Many times that's the goals you're going to see, is something like that and give them credit. They drove the net. They had guys buzzing around down there and they got the break. And I think in a game like that, that's what it was going to end up, it was who was going to get the last bounce at the end. And unfortunately for us, they got it."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Alain Vigneault, New York Rangers head coach:

"Yeah I mean, Dom (Dominic Moore) has done a lot of good things for us throughout the season. To see him get that goal, benefit of that bounce, hard work pays off. I thought his line tonight spent some good time in their zone. Unfortunately, after the first period, I mean, we got some grade A looks. It was 0-0. Sort of used to that, so we just kept playing and kept plugging away, even though they tied it up, kept playing and got a good bounce for that game winner."
