    "We are on the eve of participating in Canada of the meeting of the council of founders of the World Anti Doping Agency - WADA - that will re accredit our laboratory, and I'm here accompanying step by step the development of all these works (the works in the lab)."

    SOUNDBITE (Portuguese) Ricardo Leyse, Executive Secretary of the Sports Ministry:

    "All the stages of auditing, all the tests the WADA successfully did, and all what was done, make us feel confident of the process to reaccredit the laboratory"

    SOUNDBITE (Portuguese) Prof. Francisco Radler, Coordinator in charge of the laboratory:

    "As you can see here last generation equipment, today we are at the same level of other laboratories accredited by the World Agency, and because of that we have that positive expectation about the result of the re accreditation process"
