Intro:
Player reactions following Friday's (8 May) second round in the Mauritius Open.
Script:
SOUNDBITE: (English) Thorbjorn Olesen, Denmark, leader:
"Just to see the putts rolling in, it gives you confidence, and that definitely kept me going out there because I hit a few bad shots out there, especially on the back nine. But I was just fighting and kept on rolling the putts nice, and that's what I'm going to try and do over the weekend also."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Thorbjorn Olesen, Denmark, leader:
"I didn't have the biggest expectation this week. I knew I'd been out for a long time. But then again, I knew I was swinging the club well, and I've practising hard the last two weeks - so I was obviously hoping for something good this week, and I was a little bit surprised of how good my short game's been this week because I thought that was going to be the most rusty part, but it's actually been the good part. So, I'm very pleased with that. So I can take that with me over the weekend, and it's going to be fun."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Thomas Aiken, South Africa, tied third:
"Yeah, happy not to give away too many shots. I think it's one of those courses where it's about not giving away too many, as opposed to making many. So I think I've given up one in two days, which, hopefully it can stay that way for the rest of the week. But all in all, very pleased. I think it's a great golf course, it's a great venue. It's about time we had a tournament here in Mauritius."
