    Script:

The 2015 Snooker World Championship reached a dramatic conclusion at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield

An all-England final, Stuart Bingham up against Shaun Murphy.

Murphy took the early initiative in the best-of-35-frame match, leading 3-0 and 8-4 on Sunday, before Bingham fought back to trail by one frame at 8-9 going into Monday.

The 38 year-old from Basildon then won six of the next eight frames to lead 14-11, but Murphy, who won the title back in 2005, was not done yet and levelled the match at 15 frames apiece.

Then came an epic 31st frame - Murphy gave away 38 points in fouls after being put in two difficult snookers but was still in it when the players agreed a comfort break after an hour of play with the frame still unresolved.

Eventually, after an hour and four minutes, Bingham fired in the pink and went ahead by 16 to 15 - he was now just two frames away from the title. Bingham's previous best at the Championship was the quater-final.

A break of 65 sealed the next frame and a brilliant 88 clinched the title and the UK£ 300,000 winner's cheque.

Bingham defied the odds in seeing off Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump and Graeme Dott on his way to his first World Championship final and became the oldest winner of Snooker's biggest prize since Welshman Ray Reardon won the title at the age of 45 back in 1978.
