SOUNDBITE (English) Ross Taylor, New Zealand

"I played with Kevin (Pietersen) in a few teams and he is a very strong competitor and a world class player. Any team with Kevin Pietersen in is going to be very tough opposition and he has scored some runs I saw - before I went to Disneyland - I am sure he has probably got another couple of games to prove himself, for his sake, to get back into the side."

    Q. Can you see Kevin Pietersen coming back to the England side then?

"I can't see why not? He is up there as one of the highest run scorers for England and we will just have to wait and see."

SOUNDBITE (English) Ross Taylor, New Zealand

"I think the team have got a lot more experience. (Trent) Boult and (Tim) Southee had very good trips here last time and we still lost so we are two years hardened I guess and a lot more experienced. It is still a long way to go and hopefully these warm up games can get us into a bit of a groove. Hopefully on day one of the Test hopefully put the England team under some pressure."
