Reaction after England reached 240 for 7 on the first day of the third Test against West Indies at Kensington Oval.

    Script:

    SOUNDBITE (English) Moeen Ali, England:

"We're a bit disappointed today. I mean, we were playing so well with the bat and for us to be seven down tonight... I think we're a bit disappointed that we're seven down and not probably four or five because we looked quite comfortable at one stage after a bad start. So, probably tomorrow we're going to have to play really well with the bat up front, and then we're going to have to bowl really well."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Moeen Ali, England:

(On England captain Alastair Cook, who posted his first Test century since May 2013).

"You can see he was relieved that he did get his hundred, but I think he's the type of guy that the team is more important, and his hundred probably meant more to him because we were in trouble, like I say, and he got us out of jail."

SOUNDBITE (English) Jason Holder, West Indies:

"I think, if you build pressure these things happen. You know, you have certain days where things won't click for you. But I thought we were very patient, the way we bowled today, and we didn't give much away and we kept things relatively tight. I thought our spinners did a wonderful job for us, mixing the overs, try to keep the fast bowlers as fresh as possible. And I think that was the difference in the last two Tests as opposed to how we started today, I think the spinners really did their job today. You know, credit to Marlon (Samuels) for just sneaking Cook out in the last over there. And I think it's really out is in a very good position."
