Script:
SOUNDBITE (English) Sir Bradley Wiggins, cyclist (on his hopes for the Tour de Yorkshire)
"I'd like to stay safe because I don't want to put the hour in jeopardy. Be part of the race really. I don't want to sit up at the back. We've got some guys who have really got some goals here. I'm trying to help them a bit more and position them and use our name a bit to keep them up the front. It would be nice to keep them at the front seeing as it is my team now and not a personal thing anymore."
SOUNDBITE (English) Sir Bradley Wiggins, cyclist (on his preparation for the Hour Record)
"It's gone well since Roubaix. I hadn't been on the track for a year so we didn't know what we were going to be so that has all looked pretty good. It's been a good transition the last couple months so it is good."
SOUNDBITE (English) Sir Bradley Wiggins, cyclist (On the Tour de Yorkshire)
"It's the first year of the race. The attraction of riders like (Marcel) Kittel. It's nice to be part of it and support it in its first year. Who knows in the next couple years where it will grow to."
SOUNDBITE (English) Marcel Kittel, Team Giant-Alpecin cyclist:(On returning to Yorkshire where he won the first stage of the Tour de France last year)
"That's definitely a highlight maybe even more winning the first stage and wearing it on the second stage. It's something which may never come back in my career so I am really happy that I could experience it."
