"We gave a lot of respect to Manchester United, I think. You need to remember that they have been really strong in possession and they are a team that work really well in their positional play and if you are not organised defensively, they are going to hurt you. I thought from the beginning we were showin incredible concentration, great organisation, but everything we were doing defensively was to get a real threat going forward. I think that was very important from the first second. I think James McCarthy's goal, it was exactly that, an incredible dynamic counter-attack. I thought we were magnificent in that respect and they gave us a real threat. I don't think you can defend for ninety minutes and be able to get a positive performance against Manchester United.

"I think today you saw two teams trying to win, eye to eye, over ninety minutes and I thought we were the better side in every department and we were well worthy of keeping that clean sheet, which is an incredible start against the quality that Manchester United have."
