Reaction after Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace lose 2-0 against Steve Bruce's Hull City in the Premier League. Pardew says 'key decisions' by referee Mark Clattenburg 'went against' the Eagles.

SOUNDBITE (English) Alan Pardew, Crystal Palace manager:

"Key decisions went against us. The first goal was handball, we had a penalty with Wilf (Zaha), I think we had a penalty when Glenn (Murray) should have scored in the first half. And then our (disallowed) goal, I think that's a tough call."

SOUNDBITE (English) Alan Pardew, Crystal Palace manager:(On amount of stoppage time played).

"What I did have a problem with is the amount of time we had because anyone who was here second half - the substitutes alone was four minutes coming off the pitch, let alone everything else... And I understand that, and I have no problem with it, teams who are desperate for the points wasting time and slowing the game down - I get it, I've done it myself. I did it against Chelsea, we're two-nil up and I think Chelsea had something like seven minutes. You accept that, you have to accept it as a manager, I'm sure Steve Bruce would have accepted seven-eight minutes because that's what it should have been - but it wasn't and I'm disappointed with the referee in that, I don't care what the scoreline is."

SOUNDBITE (English) Steve Bruce, Hull City manager:(On the match).

"I think it's very difficult... I think it's very difficult when you're in a situation like we find ourselves you forget - sometimes - to take part in the game and play the game the way it should be. You've got to have the courage to do the other things, which is to take the ball. And I thought from the first minute we took the ball and passed it well. We're nearly in after the first minute. So that pleased me, the manner of the performance, which... you know we played very, very well a couple of weeks ago at Southampton, did the same but didn't take the chances, they have one chance, take it - and unfortunately it's happened too often for us."

SOUNDBITE (English) Steve Bruce, Hull City manager:(On relegation run-in).

"We've got four out of five at home. Now we're against big teams, we know that we have to get a result against at least one of them, and the Burnley game (at home on 9th May) looks huge at the moment in two-three weeks. I'm pleased with the way we've played today. We've been to the Emirates (Stadium, Arsenal's ground), we've been to Anfield (Liverpool's ground) and we've been to the Etihad (Stadium, Manchester City's ground), we've got results then. So we're at home, we've got to try and produce a result, which I know we're capable of..."
