SOUNDBITE: (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager:

"We just don't score as many goals. It's as simple as that. The players are giving the same effort, the same attitude. The skills that they are transferring from last year are the same. As I said, we had two players last year (Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge) that played in our front three. And between them, got fifty plus goals and we don't have that. But as a team, the players are giving absolutely everything. Like you've seen today, they gave everything. Some real good bits of play with clever bits of invention around the box. Just that final little piece (that is missing)."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tony Pulis, West Brom manager:

"It's a great point for us and it's something that we deserved in respect of the effort and commitment that we put in. And we had two wonderful chances. (Liverpool goalkeeper Simon) Mignolet save off (James) Morrison's header and one late on with Calum (McManaman) - terrific saves. We need to keep going. Four games and we need to pick points up. That's the important thing. That's Leicester (with) four straight wins (following 1-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday). Nobody could see that coming. I've been in this game long enough to know that strange things do happen, especially this time of year."
