SOUNDBITE: (English) Dick Advocaat, Sunderland head coach (on Adam Johnson's inclusion in the squad)

"He's in the squad, yes, tomorrow."

Q - Does that mean he'll be considered for selection then?

"If he's in the squad, then I consider him for selection. Otherwise, he is not in the squad."

Q - How difficult a decision is that for you as manager given that this is a particularly sensitive subject?

"Again, I'm here to discuss the things with you about football. The club made a statement about Johnson and I stay behind that. For the rest, I only want to talk about the team and not about Johnson."

Q - Is there any fear though that it might open him up to attention from fans?

    "No, I don't think so."

(on whether Stoke is a must-win game)

"To my opinion, every game is a must-win game because the quicker we get the points, the better it is for the club and for the players. Unfortunately the last game against Crystal Palace was a big disappointment. We could not do that last weekend so we had to wait 14 days to start again. So tomorrow we have the opportunity to show Stoke City what we can do. Difficult game because they have a good side but we cannot complain. We have a good squad and they have to bring that tomorrow."
