SOUNDBITE: (English): Paul Breitner, Bayern Munich advisor:

"Tuesday against Porto in the first half. We have to play at this level, not just for 45 minutes, but twice over 90 minutes and then I think we will reach the final, but also Barcelona has to play at the best level they can do."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Jordi Mestre, Barcelona vice president:

"It will be a very very tough match against the Bayern, but not different than Real Madrid or Juve. We are in semi-final, so we must play, we must compete as much as we can, and we hope, we expect to pass the two matches."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Emilio Butragueno, Real Madrid director:

"I think, we are going to play the semi-finals, the Champions League semi-finals. I think, when you play the Champions League semi-finals, there is no favourite. We have some key players who are injured right now, so we hope they are going to be fit for this tie."

SOUNDBITE: (Italian) Pavel Nedved, representative of Juventus:

"It's difficult to choose between the clubs, between Bayern and Barcelona and Real Madrid. It's as difficult as ever to choose. It will be very difficult to advance but we'll have to play and take our chances. After 12 years, it's very important for us to be here. Playing in this semifinal will surely improve our squad. We're happy to be able to take on Real Madrid.''
