Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers spoke on Thursday about Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp being linked to his job and Saturday's English Premier League trip to West Bromwich Albion.

"Well we're obviously delighted. They've (the club and Henderson's representatives) been talking a little while now, so.... It's great news for the football club and for Jordan, that he's going to spend the best part of his career in development here at.... at Liverpool. So, and obviously he's a big part of the plan going forward. So, delighted for him, delighted for the club and, as I said, he can continue with his development."

"Listen, when your at a club like Liverpool, you will have many names that, my time here alone there's been lots of names, mentioned. And that's the mark of being at, such a huge club, a well respected club. I know this is a club that's worldwide, so.... there's absolutely no problem, it's something that happens all the time if you lose a couple of games. We've had former managers linked here with the job before and.... and that will continue for however long I'm here, whether you're doing good, bad or indifferent, there will always be people linked with this job because it's such a great club."

"Very much so, yes. I don't think there's anyone better. That's the reality of how I see it. Three months ago I was a tactical genius and.... performing, to a good level. Then we lost a couple of games, some important games, and now your not so good. But that's, that is football, that's what will happen. People will speculate."
