  • Intro:

Reaction from Grenada after the end of the first day of the second Test between the West Indies and England on Tuesday (21st April).

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Jordan, England

'Bit mixed. Some good stuff from our today, we were good in patches, all in all I don't think we probably made the batsmen play at enough balls to create pressure, but reasonable day all in all.'

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Jordan, England

'From a personal point of view when I came on I got the ball to swing and do a little bit but didn't get the batsman play as much as I would like, I tried to rectify that coming into the afternoon session.'

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Jordan, England

'As the ball gets older it gets easier, it swung for the entire day which kept us interested as bowlers, we kept them under three throughout the day, it's a shame not to have a couple more wickets but hopefully we can build on that in the morning and make some inroads into the tail.'

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Jordan, England

'I think having won the toss and bowl first and restrict them to under two run rate throughout the day, half way through their batting line up, I would like to say that we are slightly on top, the morning session will be a very important one and if we can start well tomorrow then that will really drive home that advantage.'
