SOUNDBITE (German) Thomas Muller, Bayern Munich
"I'm always optimistic especially when I know I will be on the pitch. It doesn't matter which competition we are playing I always want to be on the pitch and perform well. We've been playing with the same line-ups in the recent weeks although we are missing some players. We had tough matches against (Borussia) Dortmund and (Bayer) Leverkusen but we fought until the last second. We know we will have to score twice against Porto, who are a great club. I can't say exactly how we are going to do that but I know we are able to do it (but) 2-0 playing at home wouldn't be an historic score. It is doable. I don't know exactly how we are going to do it but we will do it tomorrow."
SOUNDBITE (German) Philipp Lahm, Bayern Munich captain
"We didn't underestimate Porto. No one here did that. We made some mistakes and that's why we conceded so many goals. Playing the first leg of Champions League quarterfinals is never easy and we faced some difficult moments. We still scored a goal and then we conceded another one. Obviously, after the game we looked at what we did wrong but this is only natural, especially in a successful club like this one."
