Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat birdied the play-off hole to snatch a dramatic victory from Hao-tong Li at the Shenzhen International on Sunday (19th April).

Despite a disappointing final round, the 25-year-old held on for a dramatic victory at the Shenzhen International on Sunday.

An eagle at the 17th set him on course for the win, but then he missed a birdie putt on the final hole, forcing a playoff against local hope Hao-tong Li.

Li had Englishman Tommy Fleetwood hot on his heels.

But the 19-year-old finished the championship strongly, four birdies on the back nine, taking him to 12-under par and joint lead.

He couldn't match Aphibarnrat in the decider however.

The Thai holed his birdie putt to take the trophy.

It's his second win on the European Tour, having previously won the Maybank Malaysian Open in 2013.
