SOUNDBITE: (English) Ronald Koeman, Southampton manager (on how Southampton deserved to get something out of the game):

"We deserved much more than we get today, but it's the way, how we play football, how we like to play football. Maybe, in some situations a little bit more clinical in the box, in scoring, about the chances we are creating, but in general, we played well today and we play at least at our level and that's important to keep that to the end of the season."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Hughes, Stoke City manager (on the game and how his side controlled it):

"Yeah, yeah. We conceded a poor goal from our point of view, obviously, from a set play. I thought at that point we were actually the team in control, so the goal came against the run of play, in my view at that point, but... that gives them a boost and they played some decent stuff in that first half. Difficult today, they probably played more direct than I've seen them of late. they played a lot of long balls up to (Graziano) Pelle, probably back to front more than I've seen, so we had to deal with that, which i thought that we did. Got back on level terms in the second half, great strike by Mame (Diouf) and a good finish - a little bit of good fortune obviously, with the ball coming back off the crossbar, but still needed to finish it cleanly, which he managed to do and then second half, I thought we were very strong in what we wanted to do."
