-
Intro:
Peter Uihlein of the USA leads Thai Kiradech Aphibarnrat by one shot after the second round of the European Tour's Shenzen International in China on Friday (17th April).
Script:
After his Master's disappointment Bubba Watson was again the focus at the Genzon Golf Club
But it proved to be a poor round for the World number four, this, one of five bogeys in his two-over round that leaves him nine shots off the lead.
Alexander Levy has won on this course before and the Frenchman was in good form. He is now three-under going into day three.
This great birdie from Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat's put him eight-under-par overall - just one of the lead.
And that's held by Peter Uihlein who scored 5 birdies on his round on his way to a four-under 68 - and a one-shot lead after round two.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Peter Uihlein, nine-under-par:
"Yeah it was good, it was tricky today, the wind was swirling quite a bit and, yeah it was solid. Even though the wind was swirling I felt like you could get after the front nine, I played a nice solid front nine, my second nine, so it was a good way to finish."
"It's nice, I hadn't led in a while, so it's good. I'm excited for tomorrow, I'm looking forward to the challenge and hopefully I'll have a good weekend."
"Yeah, there's not much going on upstairs, I just kind of like spacing-out, I guess, when I'm doing my thing, and then just stick to my game plan. I don't really change it very often so, like I say, it's been working the first couple days, so we'll see how it goes from here."
