Family, everybody back home, I've been getting a lot of messages from last night from family members and close friends and they really wanted me to just capitalise on the score that I had overnight and go on and make a big hundred, because I have three half-centuries and to make a Test century is really a big one. I'm very happy."

"I mean, we gave him (Jermain Blackwood) a couple of lives didn't we, and he rode his luck and he played some good shots, so yeah, I mean it wasn't...it was a pretty turgid wicket as well, at times, so we knew it was going to be hard to knock people over as such, but yeah, he played well in the end."

"I think, certainly, that was the view before the game and I think any time you get selected for England it's an opportunity to show what you can do. So yeah, glad I got, first, the opportunity and then to perform pretty well is obviously a bonus."

"That was certainly an important partnership, wasn't it, at the end? It could've gone the other way quite easily, I think. They bowled pretty well there at the top, so to get that partnership and to get it over 200 tonight puts us in a reasonable position, but equally, we've seen, not only in this game, but in cricket in general, that first hour - again a cliche - but if we can start well and build that partnership, or another partnership soon after it, then that's when the scoring rate can tend to increase and obviously gives us longer to bowl them out. That'll be the key and that's what we'll be focussing on in the morning."
