"Not really. No. I am trying to take it one day at a time. Hopefully, in a lot of ways tomorrow will be my last day ever day on a horse in competitive racing. But, if not, I will have two and a half weeks left and I will worry about next year next year."

"I won't miss being in hospitals. That's probably first and foremost what I won't miss. Seeing an anaesthetist wondering how long I am going to be asleep for and how the operations are going to go. So I won't miss things like that. And I look forward to having breakfast every day and eating what I want."

"The Grand National is the most famous horse race in the world. I was lucky enough to win it once on Don't Push It in 2010. It seems like a long time ago now. But hopefully, all things going well, hopefully Shutthefrontdoor has got a good chance. He is obviously going to be favourite. But it is the Grand National and it is the most famous horse race in the world for the obvious reason that it is so unpredictable."

"It's just different from every other horse race. It is but just once a year. 600 million people watch it around the world. I think that's a good enough reason to say why it's different. That's what makes it different to every other horse race."
