Thunderstorms delayed play on Wednesday, but that didn't stop Malaysia clinching a last-gasp win over India.

Malaysia drew first blood, just 17 minutes into the game when Faizal Saari converted his team's penalty corner.

The lead was short-lived however as Rupinder Singh smashed the ball past Kumar Subramaniam to convert India's first penalty corner of the game.

When the second half got underway India piled on the pressure, but Malaysia stole possession in the Indian third and Haziq Samsul smartly put away the field goal.

Malaysia remained in the lead up until the final quarter when Rupinder Singh repeated his earlier form and tucked away another penalty corner to draw his team level with only nine minutes to go.

With less than two minutes to go Shahrun Abdullah turned in a cross from Faizal Saari to restore Malaysia's lead before the final whistle.

Malaysia claimed their first win of the tournament against India and now sit fourth in the table.
India, however, are yet to record a win in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup after three games.
