Brittany Lincicome birdied the third playoff hole to beat Stacy Lewis and win the ANA Inspiration title for the second time at Rancho Mirage in California

A fine day for the final round of the ANA Inspiration.

Sei Young Kim was in great form on the 10th hole, when she made birdie to regain a 3-shot lead at 11-under par.

But Stacy Lewis wouldn't back down, and made a difficult birdie of her own moments later on the same hole to get to 9-under, cutting the deficit to two strokes.

On the 11th , Lewis made another birdie - giving her a share of the lead at 10-under after Kim bogeyed seconds later.

Kim battled back with a birdie on 13 to reach 10-under par, but struggled on the greens on the back nine, ending up with a 75 and having to settle for a share of fourth place.

Brittany Lincicome literally jumped for joy when she made an eagle putt on the 18th hole to grab a share of the lead at 9-under par.

That meant a play-off for 2009 winner Lincicome, and Lewis.

Lewis had three chances to win on the 18th - once in regulation play and three times in the playoff.

Here on the third playoff hole, she missed a par putt.

Lincicome then sank a short par putt to win the tournament for the second time.

The 29-year-old Floridian, a six-time winner on the LPGA Tour, is projected to jump from 18th to sixth in the world rankings.
