Kim stretches ANA Inspiration advantage

  • Intro:

South Korea's Kim Sei-Young leads by three shots going into the final round of the ANA Inspiration, the first women's major of the year.

    Script:

South Korean rookie Kim Sei-Young birdied two of her final three holes to extend her lead to three shots in the penultimate round of the ANA Inspiration.

The 22-year-old managed a three-under 69 for a 10-under total in the first women's major of the season in California.

Kim is a five-time winner on the South Korean tour and picked up her first LPGA Tour title in February in the Bahamas.

The nearest challenger is Stacy Lewis; the American shooting a seven-under 68.

Lewis stormed into a one-shot lead at 9-under-par but bogeys at the 15th and 17th saw the Texan fall away.

Former winners Morgan Pressel and Brittany Lincicome are one shot behind Lewis on six under.

Pressel's impressive birdie on the fifth keeping the American in contention.

Fellow Florida-born golfer Lincicome joins her at that mark along with Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn.

With just four shots separating five golfers, it's anyone's guess who'll be jumping into Poppie's Pond after Sunday's final round.
