With the start of the ANA Inspiration just a day away, the LPGA held a Solheim Cup press conference Wednesday (1 April) for the captains to give an update on the upcoming matchplay tournament.

Script:

SOUNDBITE (English): Carin Koch, Europe Solheim Cup Captain:

"Yeah, in my eyes it's Team USA that's under pressure, but we also want it all. We want to win three in a row. That's our big goal. It's another tournament. It has nothing to do with what happened in Colorado or what happened the time before then. We start over, and it's the Solheim Cup 2015 at St. Leon Rot, and this is the event. We're there to win, but we're also there to have a great match and to just have a lot of fun. Yep."

SOUNDBITE (English): Juli Inkster, United States Solheim Cup Captain:

"I would like to see Stacy Lewis maybe take a little more of a leadership role. I know she's very quiet and it's very hard to do, but I think everybody really looks up to the way she plays and how she goes about her business and how dedicated she is to it. You know, I kind of look for Stacy to kind of maybe step up and maybe say a few more things in the locker room and maybe be a little more of a leader."

SOUNDBITE (English): Cristie Kerr:

Q: What's it going to take to win in Germany?

"Well, we just gotta play better than them. You know we're the underdogs coming in and all the pressure's on them so we're going to go over there and have a good week."

Q: Juli is preaching 'have a good time, have a good time, have a good time.' Is that a change from things past?

"No, I think in the past you know we really put a lot of pressure on ourselves to play well and if we just play our games, it's going to be good enough to win."
