SOUNDBITE: (English) Gianni Infantino, UEFA General Secretary: (on European clubs receiving greater share of UEFA profits)

"I think it's important that European football develops in a stable and sustainable way - that's why we also introduced for example, together with the clubs, Financial Fair Play regulations. It's important that when we look at the revenues that Champions League and Europa League make we can design and define a new distribution model to take into account that, of course, the Champions League is the flagship competition of UEFA and, of course, the Champions League revenues are higher and are increasing in a faster path than the Europa League revenues but the Europa League is also becoming a great competition - revenues are increasing as well - and we have to try to, not close the gap, but to make sure that the revenues are distributed in a more of an equitable manner in order to make sure that all over Europe football is developed. It cannot be in our interests - it certainly is not in UEFA's interests, it certainly is not in ECA's interest to have football developed in one, two, three or four countries. We are 54 members of UEFA and we must make sure that everyone - at its own level - can play football and can benefit from the club competitions which are pan-European."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, ECA Chairman: (on whether the dialogue over the Qatar winter World Cup is now over)

"I don't know whether these will be the end of the discussion regarding Qatar but, however, in our agreement we, of course, confirmed that the winter World Cup will be played. What we have to do, as I said, is now to fine tune however the calendar - to do it in the best way possible. That means not to damage too much leagues and clubs at the end, which is very interesting work and probably it will have many, many more discussions to fine tune the calendar for this special season. But I am convinced with the goodwill of all stakeholders that is possible to find."
