  • Intro:

Serena Williams sweeps into the third round of the Miami Open with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Monica Niculescu.

Sister, Venus advanced into the fourth round of the Miami Open on Saturday (28th March) with a straight sets win over Samantha Stosur.

Elsewhere, Agnieszka Radwanska booked her place in the fourth round of the Miami Open with a three sets win over Irina-Camelia Begu on Saturday (28th March).

    Script:

A week after playing their first every match against one another - Serena and Monica Niculescu were at it again.

Here in the second round of Miami, Serena took the first set 6-3.

Niculescu battled in a 7-5, 7-5 defeat in Indian Wells, yet this was far easier.

Serena winning 6-3, 6-1 and her 16th straight win of the season.

Her sister, Venus, looked likely to face a tougher test against Australian Sam Stosur.

However, the elder Williams sister found an immediate break here.

Venus took the first set 6-4, before Stosur responded taking the match into a second set tie break.

Despite the Australian's resistance, Venus kept up her hopes of a first Miami title for 14 years winning in straight sets here.

The win sets up a mouth-watering meeting with fourth seed Caroline Wozniacki.

Agnieszka Radwanska, won here in 2012, but she was made to work for her win in the night match.

    The Polish seventh seed got the better of Romania's Irina-Camelia Begu - seeded 31st - 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

Next up for Radwanska is a meeting with in-form Carla Suarez Navarro.
