  • Intro:

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry pulls off a wonderful fake shot pass in a charity match at Anfield, when Steven Gerrard's side come from behind to draw 2-2 against Jamie Carragher's XI.

    Script:

Nearly 45,000 fans were at Anfield to watch an all-star charity match between Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher's XIs which ended with two goals a piece.

The likes of Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry laced up their boots to raise funds for the Liverpool FC Foundation, Alder Hey Children's Hospital and various organisations in the city.

Current Red Mario Balotelli opened the scoring for Carragher's side.

Before the Italy international enabled Drogba to double their lead.

But just like the Miracle of Istanbul Gerrard inspired a comeback; the Liverpool captain beating former team-mate Pepe Reina from the spot.

Henry then joined the party with an audacious fake shot pass which deserved a better finish by former Reds winger Ryan Babel.

Luis Suárez and Fernando Torres were late out of the tunnel at the start of the second half and were heartily cheered by the Kop; a fitting farewell after somewhat hasty departures.

Gerrard then netted his second penalty of the afternoon to rescue a 2-2 draw.
