"In the spirit of Olympics 2020, our discussions were sincere and collaborate. We will leave Beijing with much greater understanding of the city's offering to the Olympic movement. My colleagues and I are very pleased to see that Beijing team has incorporated the spirit and goals of the Olympics 2020 in their proposed plan. It is clear that their 2022 bid has strong government and public support."

"I cannot predict of course which decision the IOC members will make in Kuala Lumpur in July, but I can see the Olympic spirit that Beijing and China showed the world in 2008 is alive and as strong as ever. And our visit has confirmed that Beijing is capable of hosting successful Olympic Winter Games in 2022."
