The South African found himself six shots off the lead after a front nine but sank five birdies and one bogey on the back nine to card a 71.

Englishman Richard Bland is also in the pack one adrift on six-under.

Holding a share of the clubhouse lead is Wattel; the Frenchman picking up four shots in his last four holes to sign for 67.

Overnight joint-leader Ramsey recovered from a dropped shot at the first by making three gains in four holes from the third but was only to add one further birdie in a third-round 71.

With only one shot separating ten golfers and their hands hovering by their holsters, it'll be a case of who blinks first in Sunday's final round.
