Spain train ahead of Ukraine clash

  • Intro:

Spain trained on Thursday (26th March) ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifier against the Ukraine.

    Script:

Defending Champions Spain face a stubborn Ukraine side in their latest Euro 2016 qualifying match, on Friday (27th March).
The two sides are level on nine points from four games in Group C, but Spain occupy second place courtesy of their superior goal difference.

Both Spain and the Ukraine have slipped up against group leaders Slovakia who boast a one hundred percent record with four wins from four games.

But Spain are likely to be confident, having not lost any of their last 29 competitive matches on home soil - a record that includes 25 victories and just four draws.

In addition, they have beaten Ukraine on the last two occasions that the sides have met.

But the visitors have won their last three qualifying matches, and also kept a clean sheet in all three.

Spain will be without striker Diego Costa who suffered a hamstring strain in a recent game for Chelsea.

Alvaro Morata is likely to lead the attack making his first start for the national team.
