Building work continues in Rio de Janeiro as the Brazilian coastal city gets ready to mark 500 days until the Summer Olympics.
Script:
The 24th March marks the 500 day countdown until the start of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio - It may not look like it, but the city has shown progress on delivery of the venues to be used during the games.
At the Tennis Centre's main court, construction of the concrete infrastructure for the bleachers is in its final stage.
The complete Tennis Centre is expected to be delivered in the final third of this year.
The Velodrome is said to have foundation works in their final stage.
It is expected to be delivered at the end of the year.
Temporary bleachers are nearing installation for the events at the Carioca Arenas 1, 2 and 3.
Due to host basketball, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby, Carioca Arena 1 will have 16,000 seats in all.
Arena 2 will host judo, Greco-Roman wrestling and freestyle wrestling at Rio 2016.
Arena 3 will stage fencing, taekwondo and Paralympic judo.
The Future Arena, which will host Olympic handball, is expected to be delivered at the end of 2015.
The Aquatic stadium will host swimming during the Olympic Games and Paralympics, plus water polo.
Away from sports themselves, the International Broadcast Centre, where television rights holders will have their offices, is expected to be ready in the third trimester of 2015.
Soem venues are already complete: Rio's Olympic Arena is ready, according to city officials.
The 5,000-seater Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre is also ready.
So progress has been made in Rio, but with 500 days to go; there is still plenty of work to do.
