SOUNDBITE: (English) Joe Schmidt, Ireland head coach (Q: How does this title win compare to last season?)

"It's special for different reasons, I think it's special because of the way we had to rebound from last week, I think it's special because it's been so long since we've put back-to-back Six Nations together. I think after last week the disappointment of missing a record (wins in a row) maybe and particularly on Paul's (O'Connell) 100th cap, I think it would have been, it would have had a little bit of synergy about it. So the big fella just decided to grab the group by the neck this week and drag them into this game with a fair bit of energy and resolve and thankfully was just enough to get us over the line."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Paul O'Connell, Ireland captain (Q: Ireland were labelled as one trick ponies in terms of their style of play at the start of the tournament, how satisfying was that performance?)

"It's very satisfying, I think there is a lot of trust in the playing group what the coaches do, you know, and I think that's an important thing, particularly when you have days like last week where you lose a game and at times it is hard to avoid the criticism, as much as guys do, but I think the trust shone through this weekend. We would have loved to have produced rugby like that more often and at times we did, we just didn't finish it, so it probably didn't look like it. Yeah it is great, I think this is my 13th (Six Nations) Championship or whatever, any time you win a championship it's incredible, I don't care what way we play, you know, to win a championship is an amazing achievement and an amazing feeling."
