Second-placed CSKA Moscow cut Zenit Saint Petersburg's lead at the Russian Premier League summit to two points after a 4-1 win over relegation battlers Arsenal Tula.
The reigning champions only took three minutes to open the scoring. Ex-Manchester United winger Zoran Tošić picking out an unmarked Alan Dzagoev to leave the host's defenders red faced.
In the second half CSKA doubled their lead with a free-kick routine straight off the training ground. Sergei Ignashevich feinted to shoot and rolled the ball to Roman Eremenko, whose backheel allowed Bibras Natcho to finish cooly.
Tula then sprung a counter-attack and Rinat Timokhin netted from Dmitri Starodub's centre.
CSKA central midfielder Eremenko then started and finished this move to collect his 10th league goal this season, the joint-highest in the division along with Zenit striker Salomón Rondón.
Aleksandr Golovin's superb through ball then allowed fellow substitute Carlos Strandberg to complete a comfortable victory.
