  • Intro:

Severin Freund's lead in the overall FIS World Cup standings is cut by more than half as Peter Prevc wins in Slovenia.

    Script:

It's going to be nervy for World Cup leader Severin Freund who missed out on the chance to seal the title in the first of two final events in Slovenia.

He was beaten by Austria's Stefan Kraft came third thanks to this jump on what he described as a perfect hill...

You can hear how much the fans enjoyed that one, but the noise was about to get a lot louder for the two leaders, Slovenia's Jurij Tepes went first...

He secured his place in front of Kraft by just 0.1 points.

Then it was time for this man, Peter Prevc couldn't quite beat his first jump which was the third longest in history but he did do more than enough to take first place...

That knocks 50 points of Freund's lead in the overall standings, leaving him just 44 points behind. It's set-up to be some final day on Sunday.
