SOUNDBITE: (English) New Zealand coach Mike Hesson (on their aggressive tactics)

"No, we won't tweak at all, our aggressive philosophy has served us well over the last over twelve months. If you can't keep picking up wickets, as sides have found out, you can taken to the death regardless of who is bowling, so we will keep the same mentality, as i said our plan is to keep taking the wickets".

SOUNDBITE: (English) New Zealand coach Mike Hesson (on the nature of the pitch)

"I think it has got an unusual bounce that takes a little while to get used to. I think the fact that we have played enough games there, our guys have adapted to that. So that's something that sides that haven't been there recent times would need to adjust".

SOUNDBITE: (English) New Zealand coach Mike Hesson (on the strengths of West Indies)

"Yes, just what i said before they are a dangerous. When you think they are down one of their players come out and plays an explosive innings or bowls a spell that can take you out of the game. So sometimes it is easier to play a side that is a bit more predictable whereas West Indies as they say on their day they are exceptional".

SOUNDBITE: (English) New Zealand coach Mike Hesson (his thoughts on Sri Lanka v South Africa game)

"Yeah, that's a massive game, obviously we are on the same side of the draw. So it'll be interesting in Sydney. I think winning the toss and batting over there is pretty important if it's going to turn, so ...yeah, it's a good match".

SOUNDBITE: (English) New Zealand coach Mike Hesson (on the battle between Kumar Sangakkara and AB de Villiers)

"Well, it think, they both are pretty good. Obviously, Kumar's (Sangakkara) playing extremely well at the moment and he has been over here for a while and he has adapted to the conditions whereas AB (de Villiers) sort of comes straight from what he was doing in South Africa and continued it, which is phenomenal really. So yeah looking forward to watching that battle".

SOUNDBITE: (English) New Zealand coach Mike Hesson (on the tension of playing a knock-out match)

"We have only just come together. We know what it's about and we will endeavour to keeping things simple as possible...but we realise that. When you come to a knock-out phase there is different challenges but we will just be clear in our preparation and as i said prepared to put in a good performance".
