SOUNDBITE: English Translation, Yu Darvish, Texas Rangers Pitcher:

"When I did receive that evaluation to recommend surgery, at that time, darn, I got to get surgery, but I didn't feel anything negative. nothing positive is going to come out of that so if I'm upset or worried, that's not going to make my elbow better. But going through this in the rehab there's a lot of positive things I can do for the team in the long run."

SOUNDBITE: English Translation, Yu Darvish, Texas Rangers Pitcher:

"It's very weird because I did feel the tightness in my tricep, the pain is gone, but even now when I touch my ligament or feel my my elbow, I don't feel pain there. When I did have the examination it was the tricep issue. And at the same time they found something wrong with my ligament. Maybe it was something that happened before that outing."

SOUNDBITE: English Translation, Yu Darvish, Texas Rangers Pitcher:

"I hear that a lot from the people in the press, from my team-mates about the hardships of the rehab, but I'm very optimistic. I have no worries whatsoever. I'm going to take this time to learn a lot. This is something, during this time there're a lot of things I can do to make myself better. Knowing that this is going to make me better and during the the rehab I'm going to get better. I feel nothing but positiveness and at the same time the experience that I go through maybe I can relay that knowledge to other players."
