There was new venue for the Tshwane Open this week with the Pretoria Country Club given the honours to host.

Defending champion Ross Fisher is one under par. The highlight of his round was his chip-in eagle at the 12th. A lot of pars on the card for Fisher and just the one dropped shot.

George Coetzee has played at Pretoria since he was 10-years-old, he carded a 67 and is three under par, 4 shots off the lead.

Trevor Fisher Jnr continued his good form, he's at four under par after an opening round of 66.

Wallie Coetsee went round in 64 and is 6-under, one shot back. He chipped in twice during his opening round, including this shot at the 17th.

Two men lead the way here, including England's David Horsey. Horsey had a bogey free round of 63 and shares the lead with Denmark's Morten Orum Madsen.

Madsen had an unbelievable finish to his round after starting at the 10th hole. 3-under with two holes to play, he made a hole-in-one at the short, 123 metre par 3, 8th. It took him a while to realise his feat, but an eagle moved him to 5-under.

And with just the ninth to play, two good shots put him on the green, before he then holed the putt for an eagle-eagle finish to tie with Horsey.

They're both 7-under going into round two.
